PUNK! Chaos to Couture: Met Gala 2013 Red Carpet

It’s that time of year again! Except this year is exceptionally special with  the “Punk” theme and Beyonce serving as Honorary Chair and Rooney Mara as Co-Chair. The red carpet this year featured some of the most exciting looks and we couldn’t wait to share.  The “Oscars of Fashion” was underway with A- listers arriving on the red carpet in fashions most exquisite designs from top designers.  This years PUNK: Chaos to Couture theme  is in recognition of the museums upcoming exhibit. What are your favorite looks of the evening? Mine? One word….. MADONNA

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part Two London Premiere

We are true Twilighters (#teamedward) and we had to post this picture of  Bella;  Oops!!, we mean Kristen Stewart in this gorgeous Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 Couture jumpsuit. Kristen looked absolutely stunning in the sequined and laced number, while Robert Pattinson took the red carpet in a dark Burberry London suit looking feverishly handsome. We are super excited and look forward to seeing the movie and more of these two Friday, November 16th.

2012 MTV Movie Awards Recap

Tonight’s two-hour MTV Movie award show was such a blast, the event was hosted by the entertaining Russell Brand whose jokes could have used some work. Fun. opened the night with their We Are Young with Janelle Monae , and we loved it. Anyway, the highlight of our night was the ROCK OUT performance by Johnny Depp with the Black Keys!   Johnny Depp accepted his Generation Award before performing a second number with the band.

The Hunger Games was a favorable winner with Jennifer Lawrence winning Best Female Performance and cast mate Josh Hutcherson winning Best Male, and both won Best Fight alongside Alexander Ludwig.

Other winners included Jennifer Aniston- Dirtbag Award, Shailene Woodley-Breakthrough Performance Award, Daniel Radcliffe- Best Hero, Elizabeth Banks-Best Transformation Award, and Emma Stone- Trailblazer Award.

As expected, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I claimed the Movie of the Year Award, and cast members Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson won the Best Kiss Award. Didn’t we all see that coming?

Fashion, Fairytales,and Louboutin… Oh My!

If you could have a pair of slippers like Cinderella would you? Well Mr. Louboutin himself is making fairy tales a reality with his version of the “glass slipper”. The Disney film Cinderella is being re-released on DVD and Blu-Ray in the fall and Louboutin’s Cinderella inspired shoe will be in honor of the release.

As we know, the red sole creator will put his own special touch on the shoe and we all will have to wait until late summer to see it. One thing is for sure, he is excited about the shoe and was quoted saying “I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world,” in WWD April 26.

Can’t wait to see them!

Another Vow Renewal: LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian

LeAnn Rimes and husband Eddie Cibrian spent the week celebrating their one year anniversary, and decided to renew their vows. After the event LeAnn wrote: “Renewed our vows today….it’s incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife.’ Here’s to another great year!’

Rimes, 29, and her actor husband, 38, said “I do” the first time on April 22, 2011, inMalibu. No word on the couple’s attire for the event.

On a tweet earlier this week LeAnn tweeted, “We have had the most wonderful first anniversary weekend inMalibu. We stayed at the house where we got hitched. We spent time w/ the boys, our friends and we saw our families….it was perfect and relaxing. Few more days til we go away for a lil bit, just the two of us. The first year deserves two weekends :) we feel really blessed. Hope you all had a fabulous weekend yourselves.

 

Mariah Carey and Husband Nick Cannon renew vows in Paris

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon said “I do” again in an intimate ceremony in PAris atop the Eiffel Tower. Mariah later tweeted, ”Tonight was an incredible night, I can’t express how amazing it was to renew our vows in Paris at the top of the Eiffel tower.”

The amazing couple enjoyed a romantic dinner at Le Jules Verne restaurant at the Eiffel Tower after renewing their wedding vows in Paris. Mariah looked stunning in a white mermaid dress with black bow at waist  and beautiful diamond necklace, while husband Nick donned a white suit and black tie, the couple looked very much in love as they left the romantic restaurant.

The couple, who married in April of 2008 have made it tradition to renew their vows annually, were also in Paris to celebrate the birthday of twins Moroccan Scott and Marilyn Monroe, born April 30.
